Service Overview

Paws Aboard provides safe, reliable pet transportation services between your home and partnered daycare facilities in the Evansville, WI area. Our mission is to ensure your furry family members travel comfortably and arrive safely.

Booking Requirements

Pet Requirements

  • All dogs must be current on vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella)
  • Dogs must wear a properly fitted harness for transportation safety
  • Maximum of 3 dogs per booking per household
  • Dogs must be friendly and non-aggressive toward other animals and people
  • Owners must disclose any behavioral concerns or medical conditions

Booking Timeline

  • Bookings must be submitted before 7:00 PM for next-day service
  • Same-day bookings after 7:00 PM will be scheduled for the following day
  • Advanced bookings are accepted and encouraged

Pricing & Payment

  • 1 dog: $12/day (includes AM pickup & PM return)
  • 2 dogs: $22/day (includes AM pickup & PM return)
  • 3 dogs: $30/day (includes AM pickup & PM return)
  • Payment details and invoicing will be handled directly by Paws Aboard
  • Pricing is subject to change with advance notice

Service Hours

  • Morning Pickup: Route begins at 6:30 AM
  • Evening Return: Estimated arrival around 6:00 PM
  • Exact pickup and drop-off times may vary based on route and traffic conditions
  • Paws Aboard will communicate any significant delays

Cancellation & Modification Policy

24-Hour Notice Required: All cancellations or modifications must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service date.

  • Cancellations made with 24+ hours notice: No charge
  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice: Subject to full service fee
  • No-shows or failure to have dogs ready at pickup time: Subject to full service fee
  • Service modifications (adding/removing dogs, changing addresses) require 24-hour notice when possible

Safety & Liability

Our Commitment

  • All drivers are trained in pet safety and handling procedures
  • Vehicles are properly equipped with safety restraints and climate control
  • Dogs are secured using harnesses during transport
  • Regular vehicle maintenance and safety inspections are conducted

Owner Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information about pet health, behavior, and special needs
  • Ensure dogs are properly fitted with a secure harness before pickup
  • Disclose any aggressive behavior, anxiety, or medical conditions
  • Have dogs ready and accessible at scheduled pickup time

Liability

While Paws Aboard takes every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your pets, owners acknowledge that pet transportation carries inherent risks. Paws Aboard is not liable for pre-existing conditions, injuries resulting from undisclosed behavioral issues, or incidents beyond our reasonable control. We recommend maintaining current pet insurance for comprehensive coverage.

Emergency Procedures

  • In case of medical emergency, Paws Aboard will attempt to contact the owner immediately
  • If owner cannot be reached, Paws Aboard is authorized to seek veterinary care at owner's expense
  • Owners should provide emergency contact information and veterinarian details
  • Any incidents during transport will be documented and reported to the owner

Service Area & Limitations

  • Service area is limited to Evansville, WI and immediately surrounding areas
  • Routes are optimized for efficiency and may include multiple pickups/drop-offs
  • Paws Aboard reserves the right to refuse service to any pet displaying aggressive behavior
  • Service may be suspended during severe weather conditions for safety reasons

Paws Aboard respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.

How We Use Your Information

  • Aggressive or dangerous behavior from pets
  • Failure to meet vaccination or harness requirements
  • Repeated late cancellations or no-shows
  • Misrepresentation of pet health or behavior
  • Non-payment or violation of these policies
